John Nelson
Chief Technology Officer
John is responsible for Single Digits’ technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring that the company delivers innovative solutions to its customers. He brings more than 25 years of experience leading technology organizations, successfully delivering enterprise solutions in an agile environment.
Before joining Single Digits, John was Director of R&D for the electronics division of Siemens PLM Software, where he managed a distributed software engineering team with locations around the world and was responsible for the development and delivery of mission-critical planning, monitoring, and tracking solutions. He was also an R&D manager for MKS Instruments, delivering pressure measurement and adaptive control systems to the semiconductor industry.
John earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Software Association of New Hampshire.
Outside of Single Digits, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is also a judo instructor at the Portsmouth Judo Club, and a long-time New England Patriots season ticket holder.
