Single Digits Acquires the Wireless Division of BSG
Strengthening The Company’s Position in Next Generation Wireless Connectivity.
BEDFORD, NH, JANUARY 2020 – Since 2003, Single Digits has been a leader in delivering highly scalable, reliable enterprise-class wireless network solutions and services for property owners, operators, and partners. Today Single Digits announces the acquisition of BSG Wireless and takes a major step forward in establishing a global leadership position in the paradigm shift in wireless connectivity that includes the convergence of 5G cellular, Wi-Fi 6, and NGH (Next Generation Hotspot), creating connectivity experiences previously not possible.
The combination of Single Digits’ PlatformONETM technology, global services and support organization with BSG Wireless’ wireless connectivity, location and identity services will enable customers and partners to remain seamlessly and securely connected as they move between a growing array of managed, stove-piped wireless networks, access technologies and IoT enabled devices – ultimately delivering on the promise of the Single Digits ‘Connected Life ExperienceTM (CLE)’.
The rapid evolution of wireless technologies has increased user expectations for being reliably, securely, and seamlessly connected wherever they are, while at the same time leveraging their identity for wireless engagement tailored to their unique needs. Currently in the U.S. there are approximately 8 networked devices per person1, a number expected to climb to 13.6 per person by 2022. Single Digits is uniquely positioned to address these rapidly growing needs and expectations.
These important enhancements to the customer connectivity experience are equaled only by the revenue opportunities created through the ability of carriers and network owners to offer new peer business opportunities and consumer services.
