Adapting and Overcoming: Our Week at HITEC

This past week, we had the pleasure of attending the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) in Toronto. It was a week full of challenges, including travel delays and staffing shortages, but we managed to overcome them and have a successful week, nonetheless. In today's ever-changing economy, we wanted to share some of the highlights of our week at HITEC and how we adapted to the obstacles that came our way.

We started off the week with a creative pivot. Originally, we had planned to showcase a DJ experience in our booth, but due to travel delays and cancellations, we had to rethink our approach. Instead, we chose to offer curated wellness moments with in-booth chair massages. This change was incredibly well received by attendees and allowed us to provide an interactive experience that aligned with the theme of our booth.

Another hit at our booth was the Recovery Kits we offered. These kits included items that were useful for prolonged periods of standing or walking, late-night dinners, and networking, as well as items to help attendees stay healthy during their busy work schedules. Attendees loved them and we're excited to bring them back to HITEC Charlotte in 2024!

Despite the travel delays, we carried on with productive meetings with clients and partners. It was an opportunity to showcase our adaptability and make the most out of the situation.

We owe a big thanks to Marquis Exhibits for bringing our vision to life and helping us stand out on a crowded show floor. They worked hard to make our booth look amazing and we couldn't have done it without them.

All in all, our week at HITEC Toronto was a great success. We adapted and overcame this by pivoting our approach, offering massages alongside our recovery kits, and making the most of our meetings and time there. We're already looking forward to seeing everyone at HITEC Charlotte in 2024!
